🏕️ Summer Camp & Retreat Needs

 

Twin Sheet Sets (30 sets) – New only; white preferred for ease of cleaning.

Air Conditioning Units for Shalom & Cabins – Ductless mini-splits. Eight 2-zone, Two 5-zone.

Bagless Vacuum Cleaners (4 units) – Help keep spaces clean and allergen-free.

 

🔧 Facilities & Site Improvements

 

Paint for Farm Buildings – Restore the charm of our historic farm site and protect buildings from wear. Contact the office if interested.

Adirondack Chairs (8 chairs) – Durable and comfortable seating to foster connection and conversation around fire rings, cabin porches, and scenic camp spots. Prefer weather-resistant materials.

Outdoor Bistro Sets (2 sets) – Small table-and-chair sets perfect for adult retreat guests. Weather-resistant materials preferred.

 

🚜 Vehicles & Grounds Equipment

 

Golf Cart Batteries & Charger – Extend the life of our current fleet for staff and camper transport

Boat Lift (for Pontoon & Fishing Boat) – Protect our boats and extend their usable life.

 

🎥 Technology & Worship Support

 

Portable Projector – For flexible indoor and outdoor usage and staff training sessions.

Canon EOS Rebel T7 DSLR Camera Kit (with lenses) – Help us capture high-quality photos and videos of campers, retreats, and the beauty of our Northwoods setting. Essential for telling the story of camp to donors, families, and churches.

Dining Hall Boiler Replacement – Critical for keeping water hot for best sanitary practices. Approximately $8,000.

Fire Alarm System for Ministry Center Lower Level – Required to meet safety compliance. Approximately $12,000.

New Compressor & Evaporator for Kitchen Cooler – Ensures safe food storage. Approximately $8,000.

Riding Lawn Mower (for Luther Woods) – Keep our trails and open spaces camper-ready.

15-Passenger Van – Help transport youth safely to off-site adventures and back.

Pontoon Boat (30 ft or larger) – Expand waterfront experiences for worship, fishing, and fun.

Started with Luther Park Bible Camp (LPBC): I started at Luther Park in February of 2022 as the Associate Program Director, and wore a whole lot of different hats as we went through some major staffing changes during that year. In 2024 I moved into my current role, Program and Office Administrator.

In my role:I get to manage retreat planning and communication, camp registration, and other office manager duties such as managing the calendar, processing donations, and ordering supplies. If you call the office or contact the information email, odds are you’ll get to speak with me! I enjoy being the first line of communication with Luther Park, and helping everyone have the most successful time at camp that we can provide.

Geeks out over: I geek out over board games, crossword puzzles, songs with interesting time signatures, and competition reality shows

When its not summer: Outside of summer I like live music, horror books (but not movies!), playing guitar, and watching football- especially if it’s the Green Bay Packers

Started with Luther Park Bible Camp (LPBC): On May 22nd, 2023, only one week before staff training! Crazy time to begin at camp, but also as I keep saying, there is no better time to see how everything works at a new camp.

In my role: as the Executive Director, I oversee all the operations, programs, development, administration, and probably more at Luther Park. It is an absolute honor to be at the helm of an outdoor ministry site with such a beautiful and storied history. It is also such a joy to get to work with an amazing staff, board of directors, and many volunteers and supporters of Luther Park!

Geeks out over: coffee, the Milwaukee Brewers, college basketball, board games, the two best bands of all-time The Replacements and Pavement, smoking meat, movies, Italian subs, fantasy/sci-fi novels, and oh so much more.

When its not summer: I enjoy spending time with my wife, Allison, reading theology and fantasy books, exploring new restaurants, watching the Packers, Bucks, Wisconsin sports, doing fantasy sports, seeing live music, and visiting family.
