Good conversation. New ideas. Lunch included.

There’s always something new to learn, and it’s even better when we can learn together.

Lunch & Learn is a new monthly gathering for adults at Luther Park, bringing people together for engaging speakers, thoughtful conversation, good food, and meaningful connection. Each gathering will explore a different topic, offering opportunities to learn, ask questions, share perspectives, and enjoy time in community.

Whether you’re a longtime friend of Luther Park or have never visited before, you’re invited. Come for the topic that catches your interest, join us every month, or bring a friend and make a day of it.

No homework. No expertise required. Just come curious.

Poetry & Life with Featured Speaker, Pr./Poet Mike Vetsch

Join us as we hear Pastor Mike Vetsch talk about his experiences of being a poet and what poetry and art mean for the church, and humanity in general. We will spend some time listening to his take, and then we will engage in some exercises to make us better writers.

About Our Speaker: Pr. Mike Vetsch was born and raised in south Minneapolis. He is a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church and currently serves as a pastor at Lyster Lutheran Church in rural Nelson Wisconsin. He has been writing poems and sermons for most of his life. He is the author of the book, "Wilderness Cries".
